The Coronado Historical Association's museum at the corner of Orange and Park — Tent City, naval aviation, and Hotel Del lore in a handsome 1910 bank building. Their guided historic walking tours are the best intro to the island.

Coronado Ferry Landing $

Bayfront marketplace where the Flagship ferry from downtown docks — shops, galleries, waterfront restaurants, and the postcard skyline view. Arriving by ferry ($8 each way, roughly hourly from Broadway Pier) is half the fun.
